Device Virtualization
The Zigbee-to-Matter Bridge unifies IoT networks through device virtualization. When an existing or new Zigbee device is commissioned onto the bridge, these devices are virtualized, meaning an identical copy of the Zigbee device is commissioned onto the Matter network. The virtualized devices appear as Matter devices on the Matter network, allowing for control and management of all devices.
With DSR’s device virtualization approach, manufacturers can include a more diverse range of devices in-network without developing new products. The Zigbee-to-Matter bridge will increase the number of accessible devices available to users, providing a plug-and-play IoT solution.
